Grand Rapids Salsa & BBQ Sauce Recalled

Charley's Food Design, the Wyoming based company, has issued a voluntary recall of their salsas because of allergy concerns.

According to WZZM, the mild and medium chunky salsas (16 and 32oz) are being recalled because of the way the salsas were processed.

...they were "processed using non-scheduled procedures."

Due to the processing concerns the company is concerned that people with certain food allergies could risk getting sick. However, no illnesses have been reported.

The recall also affects Fat Daddy's BBQ Sauce & Glaze in the 16 oz jar.

The products were sold at Changing Thymes in Grandville, Delski Prime Meats in Wyoming and Charley's Food Design LTD in Wyoming.
