GRPD Investigating In-Home, Underage, Tattooing [Video]

If it sounds risky, that's because it is!

The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating a man who is said to have been tattooing underage girls in his home, according to WOOD-TV 8.

Reports from WOOD-TV say a 15-year-old met a 42-year-old man on Facebook for purposes of a tattoo. Her family alerted authorities after discovering the man's Facebook page had pictures of female private parts exposed to show the tattoos. The page has been taken down, but the family downloaded the pictures.

The family says the 15-year-old was picked up by the man, who took her to his home, talked her into taking off her underwear so he could start on the tattoo.

No one knows if the needles he used were clean, and he is not licensed.

The Kent County Health Department is also investigating the case.
