We may be Beer City USA but not everyone cares for a beer or sometimes you just want to switch things up. So when you're in for a sweeter taste this is for you.

A new hard cider tasting room is coming to Grand Rapids and expected to open sometime between January and March of next year. MLive reports that Pux Cider will be located at 311 Fuller Ave (next to The Cheese Lady). The tasting room will seat 32 people.

Schaefer Cider Co. is out of Conklin, MI and has been growing apples in the area since the 1850s. They recently got in the hard cider game in the last seven years. The tasting room gives the family the opportunity to showcase what they have to the GR area, including the ciders that aren't distributed to retailers. Check out their ciders here. Their most popular one is the Ballyhoo (cider with raspberry and key lime).

Construction is expected to begin in the next two weeks. This will make it the third cidery in Grand Rapids along with Vander Mill and The People's Cider Co.
