Bad news chicken wing lovers (or lovers of other things you can see there)! Hooters announced Tuesday that it will close its only restaurant in the City of Grand Rapids.   Managers told our friends at WZZM that the restaurant's 28th Street location will close its doors on April 15th.

No reason has been provided for the shut down, only that Tax Day will be your last day to enjoy all of the things that Hooters has to offer.

Employees aren't going to lose their jobs, though. According to management, all employees will have the option to transfer to different locations (the only other West Michigan location is in Kalamazoo). The franchise, based in Atlanta,  has over 455 locations in 44 states and around the world.
