I am heading to Detroit this weekend to see some family and will be staying at a Hotel. While doing some research on hotels and making the rounds while booking a room, I found out some interesting things.
Like the most popular hotels and things that are stolen from them. Novotel Hotels assembled a list of the top 10 most-lifted items from their properties here is the list:
- Towels
- Cushions
- Bathrobes
- TV remote controls
- Light bulbs
- Mini-bar contents
- Clothes hangers
- Bathroom display trays
- Coffee sachets
- Plastic tissue boxes
My question is why are people stealing inexpensive light bulbs, or cushions? Remote controls as well, what if they do not match your TV? LOL. It's just crazy to think the levels people will go to to get free stuff.
Have you ever taken anything from a hotel?
