Hover-Boards Are Finally A Real Thing [Video]

Its finally here, the hover-board has arrived!

It seems that Lexus has been working on a special project to deliver the future we were promised way back in 1989, in the Back to the Future movies.

The blockbuster trilogy foretold our not-so-distant-future in the second film, when they traveled to October 21st, 2015. In that future, famed director Steven Spielberg, displayed a future where, among other things, hover-cars and hover-boards were a thing.

Now Lexus has developed a hover-board where its actually a usable and real experience. While there are still a few kinks to be worked out, unlike the boards in Back to the Future, this one actually works over water!

With just over two months away from the day depicted in the film, there is still a lot of work that must be done to realize that future. One can only hope that Lexus is working on the same tech for their cars. However, something tells us it wont look as good without a DeLorean.
