Hudsonville Pulls Off a Last-Minute Stunner For The Second Week in a Row With a Hail Mary
Hudsonville High School's varsity football team has been on a tear this season, and for the second week in a row, they've pulled off a last-minute play that has stunned both fans and the team they were playing against.

Last week, we saw the Eagles pull off an impressive win against the Rockford Rams when Hudsonville QB Brady Van Laeke tossed up a pass under pressure and connected with receiver Lawsyn Weber in the end zone. Weber made a one-handed catch reminiscent of another West Michigan native, Isaac Teslaa, for the touchdown.

Dancing away from pressure from the East Kentwood defenders, Van Laeke launched a pass from right near the sidelines as the clock read zero. That "hail Mary" pass was tipped by a few offensive and defensive players in the end zone before it was ultimately caught and brought down by Andrew Meerman.
After tying it up, the Eagles were able to kick the PAT and pull ahead by one to win the game.
Meerman talked to the folks at State Champs Michigan after the game:
Hudsonville now sits at 7-0 for the season. They'll head to Grand Haven to take on the Buccaneers next week.
