Illness Causes Christina Aguilera To Postpone Her Detroit Show

Christina Aguilera ended up canceling her show in Detroit, Saturday night because of problems with losing her voice. She had previously canceled her show in Ontario, on Thursday night because she had lost her voice.

It wasn’t certain if she could pull through and still perform at the Fox Theater two nights later and, alas, she did not, posting on Twitter:

Ahhh It pains me to say, I have been doing all I possibly can to speed recovery and I’m so much closer, but on my doctors orders I’m unable to perform the show tonight in Detroit.

She also promised to make up the missed dates,

but trust I WILL be coming back to make them up stronger & better than ever....

Mlive says a new date for the concert will be announced by the end of the month.
