In The Year 2000, You Will Wear Your Computer [Vintage Video]

A video was recently posted to Reddit featuring a program on the Discovery Channel from 1992. It was called 'Beyond 2000,' and they predicted we would wear our computers in the year 2000.

Okay, so we don't have CD ROM shoulder pads, off the shoulder data terminals, or the lap body; but if you watch the video, there are a lot of accurate predictions.

Yes, it's somewhat comical to the point where I wonder if it is satire; but look in your pocket. Chances are your smart phone is in there somewhere. It pretty much features everything this video is talking about.

They were accurate with predicting the technology, just inaccurate with predicting how we would use it.

This makes me wonder, how wrong are we about our future?
