Meteorologist Isabella Hulsizer shared on social media that she would be filling in on some weekends this summer at WZZM 13.

Hulsizer was with FOX 17 in Grand Rapids for just under two years, serving on the weather team from 2022 until early 2024.

I've always been a big fan of Hulsizer and even if it's just a fill in role I'm excited to see her back on the TV.

I'm making an assumption here, which if I'm wrong you know what that means, but with WZZM 13 Chief Meteorologist Samantha Jax recently leaving the station after six-years to spend more quality time with her family and her young daughter, Ada they're most likely short staffed.

Add to that all of the severe weather coverage we've had in West Michigan this year, there hasn't been much time for these meteorologists to take a break and catch their breath.

I hope that if she wanted to this would be an opportunity for Hulsizer to make her permanent return to TV in West Michigan but I guess we'll have to wait and see if this is just a temporary fill in to help out, or if this ends up turning into a full-time gig.

Either way I know I'm not the only person in West Michigan looking forward to seeing her back on my screen.
