New Grand Rapids Biggby Coffee Opening, Offering Free Drinks

A brand new Biggby has announced its grand opening - and to help get their staff ready, their offering free drinks a few days before!

Last year we told you a new Biggby Coffee was opening up at 2910 Eastern Ave. SE, just south of 28th Street.

I'm pumped because it's near my neighborhood in Alger Heights! Plus, the new shop is taking over the spot of a long-shuttered Hot 'N Now (R.I.P.)

Don't get me wrong - I loved Hot 'N Now and wish they were still open! Well, one still is in Michigan, but that's it.

There aren't really and drive-thru coffee joints nearby - so I think it's awesome Biggby is moving in. I love that Biggby began in Michigan. The first shop opened in Lansing in 1995.

If you're not familiar with Biggby's menu - they serve way more than coffee! Biggby offers lattes, hot chocolate, apple cider, cold brew, frozen drinks, espresso, tea, plus seasonal specials, and more.

You'll also find muffins, bagels, donuts, cookies, and waffle sandwiches.

The new Biggby on Eastern is celebrating its grand opening Tuesday, October 10.

Here are the specials all that week:

• Tuesday, October 10th- $1.99 any 20oz Specialty Beverage
• Wednesday, October 11th- BOGO Any Drink, AnySize
• Thursday, October 12th- First 100 customers get a free reusable cup + fundraising for a local cause.
• Friday, October 13th- 50% Off Bragels & Free shot Friday

Leading up to the grand opening, Biggby on Eastern is offering free drinks!

Thursday October 5th and Friday October 6th from 9a.m. to 11a.m. and 5p.m. to 7p.m. get your favorite Biggby drink for free. Keep in mind this is only at the Eastern Ave. Biggby location. You'll have to use the drive-thru and there is a two beverage limit per vehicle.
