One of the best parts that come from a sports team is the community that builds around it. The fans are the driving force behind every team, and it is them who keep the team culture thriving. For the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies, one committed fan has established himself as someone willing to go to extremes if it means benefiting his team.

Nowhere is team spirit on better display than at a university sports event, where the students seated behind the baskets take it upon themselves to attempt to do anything they can to get inside the shooter's head, distracting them and causing them to miss. Usually, this comes in the form of chants or posters, but this student gave his body for the cause.

This is hands down the funniest way I've seen a section try throwing off the other team. It also poses many questions:

  • Who is this madman?
  • How did they get a shaver into the game?
  • Why did they choose to do this while Oakland was leading by 19?
  • Was the shaving worth it?

I have an answer to two of these questions:

One: The madman in question appears to be Ian Allen, a graduate student part of the Oakland University Swimming and Diving team. If you look closely at everyone around him, they are all shirtless and in their (small) swimsuits. Ya gotta love students supporting students.

Two: it was not worth it. Though this video cuts off right as the opposing team is about to shoot the free throw, longer clips show the player sinking the free throw with no issue, much to the chagrin of the fans. However, you can't knock the guy too hard: it was insanely iconic of him and he will go down in Oakland's history.

Where Are These Michigan State Basketball Players Now?

Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans Men's Basketball program have been a premier school in College Basketball, with a streak of 25 straight NCAA tournament appearances. Stellar teams generate stellar players, and over the years, MSU has had no shortage of stand-out players who have gone on to have successful careers in professional basketball. Here are 12 Spartans in the last 12 years and where they are now.

Take a Peek Inside Eminem's Oakland County Mansion

At one time, this mansion was known as the Kmart Mansion because it was owned by the CEO of Kmart before it was purchased by Eminem in 2003. The rapper lived in this house in Oakland County as recently as 2017 and has since purchased another beautiful home in Clinton Township.

The furniture inside the 17,500 sq. foot crib isn't Eminem's, but the outside pictures are reported to be older photos, so yes, we are led to believe the cars did belong to Mr. Mathers.
