Grand Rapids' Frederik Meijer Gardens Up For Best Sculpture Park in the Country
Now even more people across the country now how great it is! For at least the third year in a row, Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park has been voted the No. 1 sculpture park in America in a USA Today and 10 Best readers poll.

Frederik Meijer Gardens was up against 19 other parks, all picked by a panel of experts. Then it was put up to a public vote.
Some special events that Frederik Meijer Gardens hosts include:
- Enlighten - an immersive experience that runs late November through early January. A one-mile walk is illuminated by innovative light displays, enchanting music, interactive experiences, and world-renowned sculpture.
- Fred and Dorothy Fichter Butterflies are Blooming - the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the United States runs early March through late April.
- Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts - Concerts run June through September and feature the national touring artists.
- Mums at Meijer Gardens - In the month of October, witness thousands of garden and specialty mums in gorgeous Autumn colors.
- Autumn Nights with Glow Garden - Tuesday nights in the fall, the park stays open late. Explore the glow garden with hand-etched pumpkins and enjoy musical performances.

Spanning 158 acres in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park hosts outdoor gardens and a five-floor, 15,000-square-foot tropical conservatory. The permanent sculpture collection features more than 200 works, many of which are displayed in the sculpture park.
