Jared Goff was a first-round draft pick by the Los Angeles Rams in 2016. Goff had a rough rookie season but his second season was the Ram's best in 14 years. He then took the Rams to Super Bowl LIII in 2018 but lost to the New England Patriots. Goff was later traded to the Lions in 2021 where the Rams swapped for Lions quarterback Mathew Stafford.

Even when Goff was traded from the Rams he handled everything with class. Goff even wanted to meet with Rams head coach Sean McVay to find out what he did wrong to lose his job. It was a meeting McVay did not take but showed the class of Goff who just wanted to learn more from the experience.

The first thing Goff did when he came to Detroit before he threw a football was create a charity called JG16. The whole point of the charity was to empower and uplift the youth of Detroit and do so by making large contributions to schools and communities. Goff doesn't just show up for a photo opp he spends time getting to know the students and does so with class.

Goff is confident and doesn't have an ego. He shows it in every interview by never taking the credit and giving that to his offensive line, and the defense, and will often mention other teammates and their positive contributions to the team. Goff praises the coaches of the Lions and has a great relationship with head coach Dan Campbell and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. It is simple, Goff is an all-around class act.

Jared Goff will be the first to own a game he may have cost the team to lose. Goff won't give blame to the team but take the blame and will do so with class. Now and then a reporter will throw something at Goff and as usual he handles it with class and sometimes a little humor. A reporter at a press conference for the Lions Vs 49ers game takes a shot a the Lions players while comparing them to the 49ers players. See below how Goff shuts down the reporter with a smile.

Props to Goff for once again keeping it classy. GO LIONS!
