Food Network is one of the few TV networks that still manages to impress with its variety of unique food competitions. I spent countless hours watching Chopped and Guy's Grocery Games. It didn't matter if they were amateur chefs, aspiring restaurateurs, or head chefs competing; I was hooked.

But these competitions pale in comparison to the Food Network's newest and most ambitious show yet. "100 Cookswill bring "100 of the country's best home cooks" together for a chance at $250,000, and one of those 100 home cooks is coming from Grand Rapids.

Keep your eyes open for Cook #10, food blogger and content creator Liz Della Croce, as she puts her cooking skills to the test in "the biggest home cook competition of all time."

Liz Della Croce On "100 Cooks"

Filmed over the course of 7 weeks, home cooks from all walks of life, including firefighters, lawyers, and an online food blogger from Grand Rapids, compete in a variety of cooking challenges until one cook is left. It is hosted by fellow Michigan-native Terry Crews.

The show premieres on June 7th at 9 p.m., with the next day's episode on HBO Max and the premiere episode on Nick DiGiovanni's YouTube channel. It isn't Liz's first time interacting with the Food Network, having previously been a weekly contributor to the Food Network Blog. But her outing on "100 Cooks" is her first competition.
