At the age of 7, Carson Hocevar raced quarter midgets and won 79 feature races and 15 national championships. Hocevar comes from a racing family and has been around the sport his entire life.

Hocevar graduated from Gull Lake High School in 2021. His dad Scott was a crew member for various local race teams which led to Bryan Clauson mentoring Carson and helping get him down a pathway to bigger racing opportunities.

At 12 years old in 2015 Hocevar began hitting the track at Berlin where he won the Outlaw Late Model championship. In 2016, he won his first Super Late Models race and came back and won the track Super Late Models championship in 2017.

In 2018, Hocevar moved up to the ARCA Menards Series which is like the minor league for stock car racers hoping to get to NASCAR racing.

In 2019, Hocevar moved into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series where he has been racing the last couple of years. In 2023, he finished 12th at Daytona. Then scored his first career win at Texas the wins at Nashville and Richmond.

2023 was a big year for Hocevar because he moved up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series where he fished 6th at Darlington and 8th at Charlotte Motor Speedway which really got him some attention.

Hocevar moved up to a part-time driver for Spire Motorsports to sub for Corey LaJoie. Then got a shot to drive for the Legacy Motor Club where he placed 17th at Darlington. Hocevar took 11th at Britstol's night race then was signed on to finish the final 4 races.

At 20 years old Hocevar signed on to drive full-time in 2024 for Spire Motorsports with a multi-year deal driving the No. 77 in the NASCAR Cup Series. Way to go Hoevar!
