WARNING: Popular Popsicles Sold in Michigan Recalled at Highest Risk Level

Over 100,000 Popsicles are being recalled because they might contain milk, which isn’t listed on the label. This could be dangerous for people with a milk allergy.
Unilever recalled nearly 137,000 Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop single-serve products on August 21. The FDA says eating these Popsicles might cause serious allergic reactions.
The recall is now classified as a Class I risk, meaning there’s a high chance it could cause severe health issues or even be life-threatening. The total number of recalled Popsicles is now 146,000.

The company Unilever is recalling about 137,000 cases of Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pops sold in the U.S., including Michigan because they might contain milk, which is not listed on the label. People with a milk allergy or sensitivity could experience a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.
According to the FDA, the only impacted products you need to be concerned with are Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop single-serve products, which are marked for individual sale.
These recalled products are usually sold through ice cream trucks, concession stands, and grab-and-go freezers throughout the United States.
The 18-count Popsicle Jolly Rancher multi-packs you find at grocery stores and retailers across the country aren’t part of this recall.
The products were distributed nationwide to wholesale distributors and operators between February 1 and August 15, 2024.

It's believed that there may have been a couple of people who suffered an allergic reaction to the product.
