Jumping, Faces, and Social Media – Steve’s Daddy Tips
Hi, I’m Steve and I’m a new Dad who has learned a lot of things over the last several months and I want to pass along some knowledge to you!
Each week I will be giving you some new tips for first-time parents and one spectacular Dad joke! So let's get to the tips!
- Today’s first Daddy Tip is one that will help your toddler with their mobility and give everyone a good laugh in the process. Teach them to jump! Supposedly, kids aren’t able to actually start jumping until they are 2-3 years old, but you should try to teach them to jump when they are younger than that because it is hilarious. Charlotte just started to try to imitate us jumping and we die laughing everytime. Kids that young just can’t do it, but boy do they try and it is one of the funniest sights you’ll see all day.
- The next Daddy Tip is another tip that will give you a good laugh and that’s to teach your son or daughter how to make an angry face as soon as they are able to make faces. Charlotte has her own angry and/or sad face she will do when she is actually angry or sad, but we also taught her an angry face she does just for fun and it cracks people up everytime they see it.
- And the final Daddy Tip of the week is how to share pictures and videos of your little one on social without letting the whole world see. If you are like my wife Brittainy and I, and you don’t want to share too many pictures of your little one online you can just make a private social media account where you post the photos and then share with family and friends only. Or you can post the pictures on a public social media account that no one actually follows, like our Connie and Fish Twitter and Instagram accounts. Oh, you should totally check out Charlotte’s angry face on Twitter.com/ConnieAndFish and Instagram.com/ConnieAndFish
And now it’s time for an awesome Dad Joke!
Last night I watched a documentary about beavers.
It was the best dam show I’ve ever seen.
