Mother nature has been making it hard for all of us, but especially for mail carriers trying to bring you and I our mail.

According to WOOD, the U.S. Postal Service have announced that due to the weather from Sunday and early Monday morning, some mail deliveries may not be possible. There are many roads and mailboxes that are impossible or inaccessible to get to. The mailbox zip codes affected are the ones beginning with the numbers 486 - 491 and 493 - 499.

The Post Office is also request that you keep your mailbox clear of ice and snow.

The United States Postal Service Greater Michigan District Manager, Krista Finazzo said, "Snow and ice make delivery dangerous and slow. We appreciate our customers continuing to maintain a clear path to the mail box - including steps, porches, walkways and street approach. This helps our letter carriers maintain consistent delivery service not only now but throughout the winter season."

If you have any questions regarding your mail delivery just call 1-800-275-8777 or you visit the Postal Service's website here for more information.
