The Kent District Library will resume regular hours on January 19. Play stations and study rooms will remain closed and all patrons must wear masks before entering.

Capacity at the library will stay at 30% and patrons are asked to stick to a 2 hour hour time limit visit to the library. Computer use is also restricted to 2 hour limits. KDL encourages high-risk patrons to visit the branches during the first hour of the day when they are not as busy.

Anjie Gleisner, regional manager, told Fox 17

“We are so excited to welcome our patrons back to the library once again. We look forward to seeing and serving people while making our buildings a safe place to visit.”

The library's curbside pick-up is still available. Selected titles can be brought to your car during business hours. Virtual services are available here. You can get a library card and digital downloads including eBooks, music, magazines and movies.
