Looks like Kirk Cameron isn't going to back down from the anti-gay stance that earned him criticism earlier this year.

Back in March, Cameron did an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight in which he said that homosexuality is “detrimental” and “ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization."

The former Growing Pains star now appears in a video for the Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance, in which he preaches the importance of a healthy marriage between a man and a woman. MADA is an off-shoot of the National Organization for Marriage, which opposes same-sex marriage.

In the clip, which promotes a marriage seminar Cameron leads, he says, "[God] speaks with authority on every subject including marriage. And His advice trumps Oprah's every time."

Cameron later adds, "When a man and a woman come together and they say I do, they are committing for a lifetime to love each other and to model what love is and what forgiveness is and what joy is to their kids."

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation addresses the video with a brief post on its website headlined, "NOM Defends Kirk Cameron's Condemnations of Gay People."
