Melting Snow Is Revealing How Lazy Some Michiganders Really Are
I'm trying to contain how happy and excited I am that we're slowly getting closer to springtime in Michigan, which means warmer temperatures and more sunshine.

One of the best parts of the weather warming up and the snow starting to melt away is that I can take my dogs, Benny and Paddy, on longer walks without all three of us freezing our butts off.

Melting Snow Is Revealing How Lazy Some Michiganders Really Are
I'll be the first to call myself out for being lazy sometimes, but there are certain things that even I refuse to let myself do.

Yesterday, Benny, Paddy, and I were walking around our neighborhood.
They were sniffing all the smells and peeing on as many things as possible.
Along the way, I started to notice how lazy some people in Michigan are.
During the short one-mile walk, I saw countless piles of dog poop that were hidden by the snow we got this winter. I didn't take any with me to do a DNA test, but I'm pretty sure all these piles of poop weren't from the same dog.
I understand if you run out of poop bags or, like I've done before, totally forget to grab them—that's okay, we're all human. What's not okay is being a lazy jerk and not returning to the scene of the crime to pick up after your dog.
