Grand Rapids Toy Store Offering Store Credit For Leftover Halloween Candy
Halloween has come and gone, and your kids have already had their 5th day in a row of sugar highs (and lows) thanks to that giant bag of free candy in your home.
What if you could turn that hard-earned trick-or-treat candy, into toys that could last them a lot longer? For a limited time- one Grand Rapids business is offering you the chance. Bricks And Minifigs, Grand Rapids original LEGO retailer, has offered a limited time deal on their facebook page that could leave West Michigan parents smiling and happy to be rid of that extra candy.

Because, let's be honest- even if you have to worry about occasionally stepping on a few legos here and there, isn't that way better than the sugar crashes and dentist bills from newly formed cavities? Plus, LEGO bricks are a great way to grow and foster your child's creative side- a double win for parents of West Michigan.
In a post on their Facebook page earlier this week, the second-hand LEGO brick store shared that they will be allowing people to trade unwanted Halloween candy in for store credit! According to the post, for every pound of Halloween candy you bring into the store between now and Saturday, November 9th, you'll receive $2 worth of store credit to use in-store.
So go ahead, round up the extra candy you forgot to give out, or all the things you don't want to eat that are left in the bag, and grab some LEGOs for the kids. After all, they don't need all of that sugar anyway.
