Looking For A Date? Grand Rapids Not The Worst Place To Be

A couple new studies show Grand Rapids is a pretty good town to be in if you're single, one suburb not so much.

The first study is a national project from Wallet Hub. The website ranked the 150 biggest cities in America for single people. Salt Lake City came in first, and Grand Rapids is not far behind with a ranking of 23.

The ranks are based on different things like cost of meals, drinks and movies. Also the percentage of single people and the male to female ratio.

The second study is not so good for East Grand Rapids. Road Snacks listed the top 10 worst Michigan cities for dating and EGR came in at number one. This study used data like population density, amount of singles, amount of people without kids and the amount of places people can go to meet other people. Specifically, EGR has too many married families with children.

It's not all bad for EGR though, we know how beautiful of a town it is, and residents say it's a great place to meet new people! (And they have a great track!)
