Last week when my boyfriend was back home after visiting for the weekend he told me that he only had one shoe left. I was confused and asked him what he meant and that's when he told me he accidentally put his shoes on the roof of his car and drove off. LOL who does that?! He said he didn't realize what he had done until he pulled over at a gas station and some woman told him he had a shoe on top of his car.

The funny part is while he was on the road, other drivers were trying to tell him the same thing by pointing up at the roof. He didn't realize what they were doing and just made funny faces back at them. HAHAA what a loser. After I laughed at him I told him it was time for a new pair anyway and he said he was determined to find them. He even told me to be on the lookout for them over the next week as I was driving. I told him he was crazy and that the shoes were long gone.

Over the weekend, as we were driving he randomly yells "MY SHOE!" and does a quick u-turn and excitedly pulls over. Low and behold there it was. His damn shoe; laying there on the side of the road along 44th Street. I couldn't believe it. I didn't think he would actually find it but I guess when you're determined, anything is possible.

He even took a picture for proof.

You can tell it's been run over a few times. I told him he should still get some new shoes but he scoffed that I could even mention something like that. He said these shoes were going right back on his feet because all they needed was a good cleaning.

This got me thinking to the time I lost my ring when I was in college. I couldn't find it anywhere. I didn't know if it fell down the toilet. If i left it somewhere and forgot. And then about 3 months later I open a cracker box and reach my hand to the bottom and TA-DA! My ring was there. I was so happy because I thought I had lost that ring forever..... fast forward a year later and I actually did lose the ring. Clearly it wasn't meant to be.

What did you lose and then find at a random spot later on?
