Meijer is Recalling Bathing Suits Because Your Kid Can Choke On It
If you bought a bathing suit for your child expecting them to look all cute for your next beach day... unfortunately it won't be cute if your child chokes on it.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Meijer is recalling about 22,000 of their newborn, infant and toddler swimsuits due to a potential choking hazard. The swimsuits are the "Wave Zone" brand and the snaps on the swimsuit can detach, which if a child swallows that piece can choke. Although there have been 11 reports in regards to the snaps; thankfully no injuries have been reported.
The swimsuits are for boys and girls and come in four varieties
The bathing suits were sold in six states including Michigan between January 2017 and July 2017 for about $14.
If you bought this bathing suit, return it to Meijer for a full refund.
