New Study Highlights Michigan Cities With Bad Air Quality

The American Long Association (ALA) has been doing a "State of the Air" report for the past 26 years. This year two Michigan cities are among the top 20 most polluted in the country.

The ALA analyzed data from official air quality monitors to compile the report and track unhealthy levels of ozone air pollution (smog) and particle pollution (soot).

The report then ranks the most polluted and cleanest U.S. cities based on an area’s number of unhealthy air days and the city’s particulate pollution.

These are the top 20 cities with the most year-round particle pollution according to the  American Lung Association.
