Tis the season for everyone's favorite fall treat...  Pumpkin Spice!  Personally, I don't like most things pumpkin spice, but pumpkin beer is my jam!  Thrillist.com put together the quintessential list of the best Pumpkin Beers in the country.

Michigan only had a single beer that made the list and it's from right here in Grand Rapids.  With so many breweries in our state, it's surprising that New Holland's Ichabod, Arcadia Ales' Jaw-Jacker, or Atwater Brewing's Pumpkin Spice Latte didn't make the list.

So, what did make the list?  Jolly Pumpkin's La Parcela.  When a brewery is named Jolly Pumpkin, it better have one of the best pumpkin beers in the country.  Here is the description of the beer from Jolly Pumpkin's website:

Ok, so the joke was Jolly Pumpkin doesn't brew a pumpkin beer. Well, now we do. Just this one. Packed with real pumpkins, hints of spice and a gentle kiss of cacao to liven the soul. An everyday easy way to fill your squashy quotient. Guess now folks will have to find something else to joke about . . .
Cheers & Mahalo plenty!
