Saying that this Michigan woman is lucky to be alive after the car accident she was involved in is a major understatement.

19 year-old Demi Veasley of Sterling Heights was able to walk away with just a few bruises after her car was T-boned by a speeding driver at the intersection of Hall Road and Schoenherr.

The impact was so hard that her Kia Optima was split in half.
She remained in the front half in the driver's seat while a nearby business cameras caught the vehicle's back half rolling across the road, eventually coming to a stop in the parking lot.
Veasley shared with WDIV 4 that she thought she was dead.
“I screamed. I screamed really loudly. I blacked out for a little bit and then I was facing north and the first thing I said as soon as I opened my eyes was thank you God. Like I didn’t know if I was alive or not."

The experience of this car crash is something that Veasley plans on sharing with people.
“Just seeing the video, I’m like wow, I really survived that. Now, I have a testimony to tell people. Everything has a purpose. Everything has a meaning and everything has reason. God will see you through.”
