A lot of people have "dream wedding" scenarios. Maybe they want be by a giant body of water like a lake or ocean, or maybe in a romantic chapel somewhere in the mountains.

Or, you could always go the Vegas route like my husband and I did, and get married next to a giant KISS statue (okay, this is a little less traditional, I'm aware.)

But when Warren, Michigan resident Nahren Hido, and home décor associate at Lowe’s, dreamed of her wedding day, I'm sure it probably didn't include one of America's biggest construction and home improvement chains.

It all started when Nahren learned her family members in Iraq wouldn’t be able to attend her wedding. She decided to originally ditch her plans for a big special day, and to get married at the court house with her fiancé.

She shared with her co-workers that she was feeling less than excited to plan a big wedding since she had no family nearby to share it with. That's when they realized they could make her day special, by making the place she spends her days, special.

For the next two weeks, Nahren's co-workers teamed up with the stores management to plan a wedding in aisle 25 that was as magical as they felt Nahren and her soon-to-be husband deserved.

So when the big day came, and the store closed for evening, Nahren and dozens of her co-workers made a wedding worthy of magazines, all using things inside the store.

It was beautiful, tears were (probably) shed, and Nahren and her husband can now have their happily ever after, thanks to the kindness of the people who work with her. Honestly, in my opinion that's really a better dream wedding than any $30,000 display of adoration.
