Michigan Police Arrest Drunk Driver With Tree Stuck In Bumper
Drinking and driving is not only dumb, it's dangerous and deadly.
While there's nothing wrong with enjoy a pint of your favorite beer, sipping on a glass of wine or a tasty cocktail, but if you're going to indulge in an adult beverage you need to be responsible and have a plan on how you're going to get home safely.
In 2022, there were 26,700 Michigan motorists charged with drunk driving.
There were also 9,331 alcohol-involved crashes resulting in 322 fatalities.

Michigan Police Arrest Drunk Driver With Tree Stuck In Bumper
A Michigan man is lucky to be alive and that nobody was hurt or killed after he struck a tree while driving drunk.
Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Williamston Rd. and I-96 in Wheatfield Township for a single-vehicle crash.

A person noticed the damaged truck parked at a gas station with a tree embedded in its side and the driver inside the vehicle was unresponsive.
Deputies were able to eventually wake the driver up and determined that the 18-year-old Springport man hit a tree near the exit sometime after midnight.
The driver was still intoxicated and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Charges for operating while intoxicated (OWI) are expected.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office urges motorists to drive safe and sober.
