According to Robert, the men were harassing a young woman that had just come into the store by waving a bottle at her.
As Robert made his way towards the paint aisle the three men would not let him get by them and started making threats to Robert.
The men threatened to slap Robert, as well as saying that they would kill him and that he was going to pay for their purchases.
Robert thought about calling 911 but didn't.
“I kind of stood up, and I went to reach with my phone, because I was going to call 911. And then the one gentleman started growling like an animal and reaching in his shirt. So, I just put my phone back.”
The men kept on following Robert through the store blocking his path and threating him.
Robert eventually turned down an aisle and grabbed a pipe to try and get the men to leave him alone, that's when the brawl started.
The men started beating Robert and after he hit one of the men with a pipe a Detroit Cop who was working as security got involved.
Two of the men have been charged and the third, a juvenile, might be charged as well.
