The new booster shots are available for anyone over the age of 5 who has already gotten their Covid-19 vaccinations.

The new booster shots are designed to combat the highly contagious 'Omicron' variants of Covid 19. According to the CDC these shots offer even more protection against Covid 19:

The updated COVID-19 boosters are formulated to better protect against the most recently circulating COVID-19 variant.

Can kids get the Omicron booster shot for Covid?

The MDHHS today announced that kids 5 years old and older can get one of the two 'bivalent boosters' that protect against Covid and the Omicron variant.

What Covid booster can my kids get in Michigan?
