Michigan Parents Warn Public Over Used Amazon Pacifiers

Whenever I see a baby drop their pacifier on the ground, and pick it up it's got a bunch of stuff on it I feel like the moment turns into a dramatic slow motion event where the parent sees what's about to happen and screams nooooooooo! just as the baby pops it back into their mouth.

Some people might laugh and say that a little dirt is good for the baby and they might not be wrong.

But I wonder how someone would feel if they order some pacifiers for their baby online and they ended up being used.

Michigan Parents Say Pacifiers They Bought Online Were Used

Katie and Tim ordered some pacifiers for their baby off of Amazon, and when they arrived the couple was disturbed by what they saw.

The pacifiers that were supposed to be brand new came in a plastic bag and appeared to have already been used.

The plastic part of the pacifiers had bite marks, and the rubber part had water stains along with hair on it.

Tim Sparks told WZZM 13 that they never gave the pacifiers to their baby boy but easily could have.

"Anyone that has had a baby or has a baby right now knows that you don't sleep a lot, and so you're maybe a little sleep-deprived, and had this seller put a little more effort into putting used pacifiers into a box or something that looked a little bit more official, a parent could have easily just put that into their baby's mouth."

This should serve as a good reminder for anyone that orders something online or goes to the store for that matter to make sure you open the package and fully inspect it.

In this case, it's likely that someone bought them and returned them and somehow they never got checked by Amazon before being shipped out again to someone.
