Strong storms ripped through Michigan's Upper Peninsula on June 29, bringing with them heavy rain, large hail, and wind gusts up to 63 miles per hour.

The storm caused power outages throughout the area, but video and photos from a state park show just how powerful this storm really was.

Tara Trevort was camping with her children, brother, and parents, and says that she and her father heard the storm before it even hit.

My dad and I were standing by his fire ring, and we both look at each other and said what is that sound? And then it hit us so hard and out of nowhere.

After the storm passed, Tara walked around the park documenting the damage that had occurred. Her video shows the sheer power of the storm.

No injuries were reported, but as you can see from the video, a lot of cleanup was needed in the aftermath of the storm.

The park closed to new visitors while staff, campers, and volunteers cleaned up as much of the damage as they could. The park was able to reopen on June 30 once power was restored.
