
Michigan Teen Leads Police on 150-MPH High-Speed Chase
I remember the first time I saw the iconic big red light on top of a Michigan State Police cruiser turn on behind me.

I was coming back from a Detroit Red Wings game with my friend David and was almost home when the light turned on and pulled right up on my bumper.

The officer clocked me going 95 mph, and when he handed over the ticket, I remember thinking that this would probably be the last time I ever got to drive a car for the rest of my life.
Thankfully, my parents didn't kill me, but they did take away my car privileges for a very long time.
That's why, when I see stories like this one about a teen leading police on a high-speed chase, I can only imagine how much trouble they're going to be in.

Michigan Teen Leads Police On 150mph High Speed Chase
In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 15th, a Calhoun County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to stop a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Interstate 94 near Albion at speeds of over 126 miles per hour.
The driver, an 18-year-old man from Kalamazoo, refused to stop and led deputies on a high-speed chase that reached speeds of over 150 miles per hour.
Thankfully, police were able to safely end the pursuit, and nobody was hurt or injured during the chase.

Police are still investigating this case, but it's a safe guess that the man was most likely trying to get away because he was in possession of fraudulent and fake driver's licenses.
The man is currently being held at the Calhoun County Jail on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
