Four people riding in a minivan got the ride of their life this morning in northern Michigan, after the driver rear-ended a semi.

The incident happened on I-75 in Roscommon County, Channel 95.7's news-gathering partner WZZM-13 reported.

Because of poor visibility in the snow, the van rear-ended the semi and became lodged under the semi-trailer. The driver of the truck had no idea a van was stuck under the trailer, and was alerted after police pulled the truck over.

Police determined the incident had happened 16 miles back! Four people in the van were taken to the hospital and will be OK.
