We got an e-mail from a listener in our inbox last night. Think you can help her out?

Here's what she wrote:

Connie and Curtis,

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years...we have caught some grief, as he is 15 years older than I am.  We each have one kid of our own, and don't plan on having any more.  We pretty much know that we will get married eventually, but I am ready now.  I am 26, never been married, and not getting married is a deal breaker for me.  He is a little hesitant, as he has been married once for 10 years.  We discuss marriage often, and sometimes he is okay with it, but sometimes, he is really distant and turned away by it.

I plan on proposing to my boyfriend, soon.  No, this is not the traditional thing.  But we clearly are not the “traditional” couple.  I figure if he is too scared to do it, I will just do it, and if he says know then I will know my fate.  What are your thoughts/opinions on this?

Also...I love listening to you guys.  I wish you would play all day.

Suzie

What do you think? Should she propose to him?
