The No. 2 Ranked University of Michigan Wolverines came into East Lansing and spanked the Spartans 49-0.

And held onto the Paul Bunyan Trophy.

But instead of talking about the game being a blowout, people are talking about something that happened before the game even started.

A trivia question about Adolf Hitler was displayed on the Spartan Stadium big screen.

Several people captured a quiz question that was displayed on the big screen at Spartan Stadium.

The question was "What country was Adolf Hitler born in"

Several media outlets caught the question and shared it online.

After the game Michigan State spokesman Matt Larson issued the following statement.

“MSU is aware that inappropriate content by a third-party source was displayed on the videoboard prior to the start of tonight’s football game, We are deeply sorry for the content that was displayed, as this is not representative of our institutional values. MSU will not be using the third-party source going forward and will implement stronger screening and approval procedures for all videoboard content in the future"

Regardless of who was responsible for the question ending up on the big screen, this is another black eye on MSU.

Can Michigan State University just put Tom Izzo in charge of everything?

Maybe things will start to turn around in East Lansing.
