MSU Suspends In-Person Classes for the Remainder of the Semester
MSU announced on Saturday that they would go ahead and cancel face to face classes for the rest of the semester, encouraging students to move off-campus, unless they couldn’t, WOODTV reports.
They also announced they’re postponing commencement, and are working hard to figure out when they can reschedule.
WOODTV says moving forward classes will be taught online and employees were encouraged to teach from home, although the campus would still be open. For students that can’t make it home right away, dorms and dining facilities would remain open.
MSU decided last week that events or gatherings larger than 100 people would be rescheduled or canceled through April 20th, unless the university president ok’d it, and no further events would be scheduled as of now, WOODTV reports.
