Muskegon Pub Busted Again After Undercover Gaming Raid Uncovers Illegal Slots

But one place you're not allowed to play slot-style gaming machines is at a bar.

One Muskegon bar was recently raided by the Michigan Gaming Control Board after a report of illegal gambling machines inside of the establishment.

Illegal Slot-Style Machines Seized From DJ's Pub & Grill

Back in January, the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) received a tip that several unlicensed gambling machines were set up inside DJ's Pub & Grill and paying out the winnings in gift cards and cash.

The MGCB did several undercover visits to the bar and on multiple occasions saw the illegal gambling machines in use.

Because of that MGCB authorities were able to execute a search warrant at DJ’s Pub & Grill where they seized three slot-style gaming machines.

They also found $1,200 in gift cards that are believed to be used as a way to pay out winners.

Also found during the search was almost $4,000 in suspected gambling proceeds.

If this Muskegon bar sounds familiar it might because they've been in the news for something similar in the past.

Back in 2021, the Michigan Liquor Control Commission took enforcement action against DJ's Pub & Grill after it found violations related to illegal gambling.

So far nobody has been arrested as the investigation continues.
