One West Michigan woman recently had that happen and her excitement in that moment led to her getting injured.
Nancy Cuncannan, along with her daughter Izzy and some family friends, went to Los Angeles to celebrate her daughter's high school graduation and decided to attend a taping of The Price Is Right.
Nancy ended up being selected as one of the first four contestants to "come on down."
Her good luck continued when she had a winning bid that meant she got to go up on stage and play a game.
During that exciting moment she started jumping up and down while turning and felt a loud pop and her knee gave out.
Nancy was able to play the game on stage and finish the show and make it all the way to the showcase showdown.
But after the adrenaline stopped pumping through her body the real pain started to set in and the reality set in that Nancy had in fact torn her ACL.
She shared with WZZM 13 about her experience on the show and how much fun she had despite the unfortunate injury.
