If coronavirus wasn't enough to keep Yoopers in their home, two feet of snow was. Yes, in April.

Heavy snow began Sunday night and lasted through Monday. According to the National Weather Service in Marquette the central and east U.P. also got strong wind gusts and blowing snow.  They provided a 24-hour radar through Monday 8 a.m. which shows that some areas got 18-24 inches!

As of Monday evening, the NWS posted an update that winter-like weather will continue over the next few days with highs only in the mid 20 to mid 30s.
