PEDALS for ALS 2026 Fundraiser Brings West Michigan Together
West Michigan has so many amazing charities that put on great events.
Not only do they bring awareness to their cause, but they also bring the community together so nobody ever feels like they are going through something alone.

Since moving to Grand Rapids in 2007, I've had the chance to attend galas, emcee 5Ks for mental health, cancer, kids, Special Olympics and so many more.
There is one very special event coming up in September that I'm excited to emcee again.

This charity is unlike many charities that raise money for research, this event gives funds directly to people that need it in West Michigan.
PEDALS For ALS Returns To Townsend Park
PEDALS for ALS returns to Townsend Park in Cannonsburg on Sunday, September 13th.
The event brings together people across West Michigan who have been impacted by ALS, with all of the funds raised going to help families in West Michigan with needs that include:
- Medical Equipment: Helps supply vital assistive devices and gear.
- Respite Care: Gives temporary relief and care support to family caregivers.
- Home Modifications & Visits: Provides home visits and accessibility additions like ramps.
- Daily Assistance: Delivers meals and ongoing local support services.
You can take part in the event by biking, running, walking, and rolling.
I've been emceeing the event for the past couple of years, and it's always so heartwarming to meet people and their families that have been impacted by ALS.
These brave men and women keep on fighting, and that's why everyone is there to show their support.
