If you're new to West Michigan or visiting for the first time, in my opinion nothing beats a nice evening in Grand Haven grabbing a couple of Pronto Pups with ketchup and mustard and walking down to the Pier to watch the sunset.
My wife Lindsey always makes sure to bring extra cash so we can grab a couple of pronto pups and a pop.
Pronto Pups 2026 Opening Day
Pronto Pups shared some good news and some bad news on their Facebook page today.
The good news is that Pronto Pups will be opening up for the 2026 season on Friday, April 3rd at 11am.
Now for the bad news: After having the same prices for 20 years, some menu items prices will be going up.
"We have absorbed all our supply increases for those years. Plastics and paper products have doubled, beverage syrup has tripled ,food license has increased 120% and you all know about the beef and pork prices if you've been in a store lately. The only rates that have gone up by choice is our hourly rate to our staff. These ladies are more than deserving and we are so happy they chose to be part of our outstanding crew."

In my opinion not passing on the cost to customers over the past 20 years, is mind blowing.
And at $2 each that's still a great price for a delicious treat.
