Dinner is about to get a little tastier.  Fulton Street Farmers Market is set to open at their newly remodeled location this Saturday.

The frozen vegetables and out-of-state strawberries that Michigan winters bring leave something to be desired.  This Saturday at 8:00am, the Fulton Street Farmers Market returns and with it comes not only some delicious produce, but some big changes too.

Mlive.com describes the $2.7 million renovation:

In addition to the covered vendor area that runs down the middle of the site from Fulton to Fountain streets NE, just west of Fuller Avenue, an initial phase of construction repaved the parking lot, rerouted internal traffic flow, re-graded the site for wheelchair-accessibility, improved drainage, built a new retaining wall and moved out 4,500 yards of contaminated soil.

Looking forward to some fresh strawberries.

What are you most looking forward to getting at the Farmers Market this year?
