Rick Ross has canceled his two North Carolina tour dates following threats of gang violence.

Ricky Rozay was to be joined by Wale and Meek Mill for shows in Greensboro and Charlotte, N.C., but both shows have been scrapped following some pretty sinister, scary messages. A gang called the Gangster Disciples released a video warning the Maybach Music Group trifecta that they'd be at their shows.

Further, WCNC reported that Ross received death threats from the gang earlier this week.

Billboard reports that the beef may stem from one of Ross' lyrics in 'B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast),' in which Ross cites the gang's imprisoned leader, Larry Hoover. Additionally, the Gangster Disciples use a six-pointed star as an emblem, and the same symbol appears on Ross' 'Black Bar Mitzvah' mixtape. (But then again, do these guys also hate every Jewish temple ever?)

It's unclear whether Ross' shows will be rescheduled, but the rest of his tour is going on -- so far -- without a hitch.
