Three New York roommates took a trip to a nearby Salvation Army and came across a pretty solid find, a couch!

One night they sat down to watch a movie and felt crinkles in two side pillows built into it. They pulled out 3 envelopes, opened them, and found $41,000!

Their excitement didn't last long, in fact it lasted up to the point when their conscience kicked in. On one of the envelopes they found a woman's name.

The group tracked down the woman, and found out that her family donated the couch without knowing about the money, which happened to be her life savings.

As a reward, she gave the roommates $1,000.
