Rx Kids is a prenatal and infant cash program that was developed to help maternal and infant health. It does that primarily by offering financial assistance.
Dr. Mona Hanna, Director of Rx Kids, said in a release,
We’re proud to partner with so many incredible Kent County leaders and community organizations to expand Rx Kids to 49507. By investing in moms during pregnancy and infancy, we’re improving health outcomes, reducing stress, and helping babies get the healthiest possible start in life.
Earlier this year, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that the program would roll out to an additional 20 communities over the summer.
Enrollment for the 49507 ZIP code opened at 9 a.m. on July 1, 2026.
To be eligible, you must be at least 16 weeks pregnant at the time of your enrollment. If you are registering a baby, they must be born on or after July 1, 2026. If you believe you are eligible, you can enroll now on their website.
