Ryan Reynolds could probably use some space from everyone right about now, but especially his wife Blake Lively. His words (sort of), not ours.

When a recent headline from International Business Times insinuated he and his wife of six years were “struggling to spend quality time together,” the Deadpool actor laughed off the fake news with quite the contrary and hilarious response.

“I wish. I could use a little ‘me time’,” the 41-year-old star tweeted, sneeringly deflating any assumption that he and the Shallows performer have grown estranged from each other.

Evidently, the A-list couple and parents to two girls — 3-year-old James and 17-month-old Innes — can’t get enough of each other. For better or worse.

Last week, the Gossip Girl alum and Marvel favorite were photographed making a rare presence at the New York City premiere of Final Portrait in support of their friend Stanley Tucci, who wrote and directed the British-American drama. It's the first time the couple has been snapped together since they appeared at the screening of All I See is You in October 2017, in which the 30-year-old actress stars.

While the suggestive report — which also leads with since-refuted rumors of their impending divorce — couldn’t be further from the truth of their real relationship, the lovebirds are well-known jokesters and have delighted in trolling the media from time to time.

Last August, Reynolds honored his wife’s 30th birthday on Instagram with an image that crops out Lively’s face, captioning the hilarious pic: “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife.”
